Leo was living outside being cared for by the owner of the house where he had taken refuge under the deck. One day when feeding and petting Leo she noticed he was bleeding. As he is friendly she could look and located a wound on his backend. She reached out to NTCR, and the vet confirmed he had been bitten by another animal. Leo has healed quickly with the care of our volunteers. He is such a sweet, friendly, talkative boy, he will be the cat that meets you at the door when you come home. It would be best if Leo was the only cat, as he can be territorial. Leo was very lucky he had such a kind soul looking after him, and is now waiting for his own “furever” home and family.
